How we handle information when you enquire, use our customer services and make a payment.
Information we handle
When you contact us or request an estimate, we receive the name, business/contact information and project details you supply. Our website and hosting systems also process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, security logs and session identifiers. Customer portals can contain project messages, estimates, invoices, payment records and activity associated with your account.
Why we use it
We use information to respond to requests, screen spam and abuse, prepare estimates, deliver agreed services, maintain customer/project records, process billing and protect our systems. Project follow-ups use the communication permissions recorded with your request. Promotional messages require separate marketing permission.
AI enquiry screening
Project subjects and details may be processed by OpenAI to detect suspicious submissions and summarize requirements. Direct email addresses and phone numbers are redacted before this screening step; project text may still contain information you choose to provide. Uncertain requests are retained for staff review. Do not submit passwords, full card details, sensitive identifiers or confidential third-party information through enquiry forms.
Service providers and payments
Our operational providers include Hostinger for hosting/email, OpenAI for the screening described above, Phone.com for connected texting, and the payment provider used for your transaction. Stripe-hosted checkout collects card information directly; our CRM keeps payment status and references. Information necessary to operate these services is handled under the relevant provider arrangements. Third-party processors may handle information outside your location.
Cookies and external resources
Sessions and security features use cookies or similar identifiers for forms, CAPTCHA, login and protected access. Website fonts, libraries and images can load from external providers such as Google Fonts, jsDelivr and Unsplash, which receive the technical information needed for the request. Third-party sites and payment pages have their own privacy notices. External resources may load when you visit. You can manage cookies using your browser settings; disabling session cookies may affect forms or protected access.
Communications and choices
SMS project updates are optional where offered; message frequency varies and carrier charges may apply. Reply STOP to stop supported automated texts. Use the unsubscribe option in promotional messages or contact hello@ittoweb.com to withdraw marketing permission. Required contractual, billing and security communications may still be necessary. A project request does not by itself authorize promotional messaging.
Retention, security and requests
Records are retained as needed for the stated purposes, active agreements, security, dispute resolution and legal obligations; retention periods depend on the record and applicable obligations. We use access restrictions and other safeguards, but no system is guaranteed perfectly secure. Request access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy rights at hello@ittoweb.com. Identity verification and lawful retention exceptions may apply. Arrange agreed project/data export before service ends.
Business audience and notice updates
Our services and enquiry forms are intended for business customers and are not designed for children under 13. Privacy rights and obligations vary with your location, industry and the data involved. We will update this notice for material changes and provide additional notices where required.
